I'm not a professional photographer. Nevertheless, I have really enjoyed photographing the crows that drop by for peanuts, corn or chicken a few times a day. Some of the photographs are better than others, but overall I love the essence of crow that is captured.

I enjoy the shapes, the body language, the shadows, and the personality of each crow. For me, it is a visual recording of activities that occur in the lives of all birds. In the paintings and prints I make I let the crow's form stand in for all wildlife that has adapted to living with us.
